Hi, I’m Gina Taylor, MS OT, HPCS. Ever since I was a kid, I knew my path would involve helping others. Growing up surrounded by nature and horses, I found joy in connecting with the world around me and learned early on the power of hands-on, relationship-based experiences. Fast forward through 18 years as a pediatric occupational therapist, and my passion for supporting children and their families has only grown stronger. My journey has been shaped by the kids and parents I’ve worked with, seeing firsthand how sensory health, motivation, and nurturing connections can transform a family’s day-to-day life.
I know you might be wondering what makes a pediatric OT like me the right person to guide you through brain-building strategies. Over the years, I’ve gained certifications in sensory integration, DIR/Floortime, and motivation psychology, all of which I use to offer practical, effective strategies that support brain development. Beyond my clinical work, I’ve taught other professionals as an adjunct instructor and led educational programs, making sure what I share with you is rooted in research and proven practices.
My mission is simple to help families foster confident, calm, and connected kids. I believe in the power of nature, strong relationships, and sensory health as the foundation for healthy brain development. I know that parenting can be full of highs and lows, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when your child’s needs seem tough to manage. That’s where my work comes in, guiding you to understand why certain behaviors happen and how to support your child in ways that nurture their mind and spirit.
When you join me on this journey, you can expect hands-on guidance, relatable tips, and strategies that go beyond “managing behavior” and address the root causes. We’ll work together to set up routines, sensory-friendly spaces, and bonding moments that make a difference. Whether it’s finding balance at home, improving attention and focus, or reducing those emotional rollercoasters, I’m here to make sure you have the tools and insights to help your child thrive.
I’ve been lucky to see the incredible changes that happen when families apply these strategies. Parents have shared how their child’s newfound focus, calmer demeanor, and improved social connections have lifted the stress from their daily routines. It’s not just about managing today’s challenges but building a foundation for tomorrow’s growth.
What sets my approach apart is the blend of science and heart. I bring in my background in sensory health, brain chemistry, and motivation techniques (like the Octalysis framework) to show you how to create a nurturing environment that encourages your child’s natural growth. I’ll help you understand the “why” behind your child and guide you with step-by-step methods that fit into your busy life.
